Psychology & coaching
In sessions we work together to help you move towards the outcome that you desire. I like to use a mix of different approaches to help you get unstuck and move forward. That way I can flexibly offer the most personal treatment, specifically for where you are at. Everybody is unique, and so no two trajectories are the same. Read more about the different approaches I use in sessions below.
CBT is all about our thoughts and the influence thoughts have on our emotions and actions. By engaging in a dialogue about your automatic thoughts, they often lose the power they hold over you. Together we practice new and more constructive ways of looking at situations or yourself. Instead of fearing your mind or trying to not think about your thoughts, you learn to ask questions about them.
ACT teaches you to navigate difficult thoughts, feelings, sensations, memories and urges so they have less of an impact on you. They don’t overwhelm you as much anymore and you feel more in control. It involves paying attention to what is truly important to you: what your core values are. ACT is a versatile and positive approach to problem-solving in therapy.
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) is all about our emotions. When we know what we feel, we are better able to understand what we want and need. This allows us to live more harmoniously with ourselves and others. Not all emotions are easy to feel, but they are all relevant and tell us something about what we care about and who we are (or want to be).
In this form of therapy you develop your emotional intelligence. You can learn to increase or decrease the volume of the feeling, so to speak. When emotions are too strong, they are overwhelming and you can’t think clearly. But when they are too subtle, they are easy to miss.
If, for instance, you feel you are stuck in an “old feeling” for a long time and you can’t seem to move past it, EFT is worth a try.
If it feels right, we can take our sessions outside. A bit of rain is no issue!

Prices are including btw/VAT. Sessions are unfortunately generally not covered by insurance companies, but you can always check your insurance policy or ask your insurance company for any exceptions or options.
Working experience
Since Daylight’s founding in 2020, over 200 trajectories have been completed. Some short (1-7 sessions), some longer. I have experience working with adolescents, students, working and retired adults. From 2020 until 2025 I collaborated with Wake Up Student Psychology & Coaching, specializing in Student well-being and study coaching. In September 2021 I joined forces with Psyned, one of the largest organizations for mental health care in the Netherlands.
